***CLASS UPDATE***

Hi all,

The Monday class will now run from 8pm in the larger gym hall in Inverkip Church in order to combine the Wednesday class also.

Joanna will be talking over the class from Monday 9th of July.

Many thanks for your well wishes and lovely gifts. I am looking forward to a new yoga journey in Dubai. Donna xxx

Yoga Tips

Tips for Practising Yoga

Before Class: Eat light before class or have a meal 1-2 hours before

What to bring: Water, blanket for Relaxation to keep you warm

Please inform me if you have any medical concerns in particular back, neck, knee injuries etc.

I also need to know if you are pregnant so I can safely modify postures for you. It is safe to practise after 17 weeks.

Breathing is a big part of yoga, you will train yourself to breath in and out of your nose. By doing this, the air you breathe in is of the highest quality before it reaches your lungs.

Yoga has many benefits and is different from any other forms of exercise as works on the body mind and spirit in harmony.

Benefits of yoga - Muscle strenghening and toning, improved concentration, increased suppleness, complete relaxation and general feeling of wellbeing.

Don't worry and enjoy it, I promise you it will become easier every week.
